This rental agreement is between Lofts, LLC and the renter. All payments and questions should be directed to Lofts, LLC and not the University. You are liable for any and all damages to the items rented from Lofts, LLC, up to the full replacement cost, should the items be lost, stolen or damaged beyond use. The loft bed kit consists of two bed ends, two stabilizer bars, and optional safety rail. Replacement costs are as follows: Bed Ends $125.00 each Stabilizer Bar $35.00 each Safety Rail $100.00 each The rental period is from August 2008– May 2009. This rental agreement may not be transferred to another student. Full payment must be made at the time of your order. There are no refunds on loft bed kits that have already been installed in the designated room. If your cancellation request is received prior to the loft bed kit being installed, you will be subject to a $10.00 processing fee. During the rental period, the loft bed is your responsibility. It must remain in the room that was indicated on your order form. If you change residence hall rooms, it is your responsibility to notify Lofts, LLC and make arrangements for us to move your loft bed. A fee of $25.00 will be charged to move a loft bed from one room to another. If you leave school or no longer wish to have your loft bed, it is your responsibility to contact Lofts, LLC and request that we remove your loft bed. All requests to remove loft beds must be faxed or e-mailed to Lofts, LLC. All loft beds will be installed at the standard height of 60 ½” from the floor to the bottom of the bed spring. The loft beds may be lowered in 3” increments. If you would like to have your loft bed lowered, please include your request in the space provided on the order form. If you request that we lower your loft bed after it has been installed a charge of $25.00 will apply. All loft beds will be installed in the residence halls no later than August 20, 2008, as indicated on your order form. If your room assignment changes, you must notify Lofts, LLC prior to August 20, 2008. If you will be moving into the residence hall prior to August 20, 2008, please indicate your arrival date on the order form and we will arrange to install your loft bed kit prior to your arrival. Loft bed orders must be placed no later than July 1, 2008 in order to guarantee installation by August 20, 2008. We have 700 loft beds available for rent. If we need to order additional loft beds, it takes 6 weeks to receive them from the factory, therefore, the July 1st deadline is necessary to insure delivery prior to move-in. If you have not received your room assignment, you can order a loft bed and advise us of your room assignment at a later date.
